All ingredients are considered “Natural” or Ecocert. (Check with supplier)

Batch size calculator for the recipe is attached at the bottom of page along with the PDF blog you can print.
Formula;
Phase A
2% Stearic Acid
Phase B
25% Glycerin
21% Distilled Water
26% Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI)
Phase C
1% Geogard 221 (INCI; Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Water)
1% Fragrance Oil (I used Marshmallow Creme)
Directions;
In a heat safe bowl add in the Stearic Acid.
In another sanitized heat safe bowl, combine all ingredients in phase B and mix. Before adding in the Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) make sure you put on your Respirator. Gently mix the SCI in with the liquid ingredients.
Place both phases in a water bath to let the Stearic Acid melt and to help combine everything in phase B. (A water bath is a pan filled with an inch or so of water. Place your pan on your Stove Top on medium heat.)
Remove both phases from heat and pour phase B into phase A and mix.
This is when you can start whipping your electric Hand Mixer or you can use a Stand Mixer (Kitchen Aid). As it cools you will notice the product will start to get fluffy. While mixing you may need to periodically scape the sides.
After mixing for 5-10 minutes it should be cooled to around 40°C / 104°F. Once it reaches this temperature you can add in the phase C ingredients and whip again to combine ingredients.
After it’s become fluffy and cooled I cover and let it sit till the next day.
The next day I whip it again for a few minutes and then put into Piping Bags to pipe into my jars. I used these jars HERE. Make sure you slam the jar onto your table to pack the whipped soap to make sure there aren’t air pockets left in the whipped soap and top it off with any more whipped soap.
