Advanced Bi Phase Micellar Water / Makeup Remover (Exclusive 11/25)

Meant to be used as a makeup remover in double cleansing method.

Formula;

Phase A

2% Glycerin
2% Propanediol
0.5% Liquid Germall Plus
1% PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides
76.9% Distilled Water
0.5% DL panthenol
0.1% Disodium EDTA
1% Campo Pink, Hydrophilic (INCI: Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract, Aqua, Corallina Officinalis Extract, Betaine, Coccinia Indica Fruit Extract)

Phase B

10% Caprylic Carpric Triglyceride
5% Isohexadecane
0.5% Polyglyceryl-3 Oleate
0.5% Poly Suga®Mulse D9 (INCI; Sorbitan Oleate Decylglucoside Crosspolymer)

Directions;

In a clean sanitized container, combine all ingredients in phase A in order mixing in-between each addition and making sure to dissolve the DL panthenol & Disodium EDTA.
In another clean sanitized container, combine all ingredients in phase B and mix.
Pour phase B into A and mix well before pouring in desired bottles.

pH adjusting - check and adjust pH of water phase before pouring in the oil phase. Do test batches first to see how much pH adjuster you need for your formula. I plan on using this on my face, not on the eye area. Eye area products are recommended to be in a pH around, 7-7.5 So if using on eyes, adjust pH accordingly. Make sure you use eye safe preservatives. I have a preservative cheat sheet you can use to find out which ones are eye area safe.

How to use;

Soak a cotton pad with product and gently swipe onto skin. Press and hold pad for a few seconds on trouble areas. Rinse off with lukewarm water and follow with your favorite cleanser or leave on skin and use as a no rinse micellar water.

6 grams Glycerin
6 grams Propanediol
1.5 grams Liquid Germall Plus
3 grams PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides
230.7 grams Distilled Water
1.5 grams DL panthenol
0.3 grams Disodium EDTA
3 grams Campo Pink, Hydrophilic

Distilled Water - Diluent

Liquid Germall Plus - Preservative

PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides - gentle and mild surfactant that is perfect for making no rinse products. Does not irritate skin and does not need to be washed off.

DL panthenol - Vitamin B5 hydrates and strengthens skin.

Disodium EDTA - Chelating Agent. (Learn all about Chelating Agents HERE)

Campo Pink, Hydrophilic - Blend of botanical extracts that colors cosmetics pink naturally.

Caprylic Carpric Triglyceride - non greasy light weight emollient great for dissolving makeup.

Isohexadecane - non greasy light weight emollient great for dissolving makeup

Polyglyceryl-3 Oleate - helps with dissolving and removing dirt and makeup from the skin. It also helps solublize oil into the water just long enough for application. We don’t want it to stay mixed together, we want it to separate overtime.

Poly Suga®Mulse D9 - helps with dissolving and removing dirt and makeup from the skin. It also helps solublize oil into the water just long enough for application. We don’t want it to stay mixed together, we want it to separate overtime.

Glycerin - any other humectant of choice, Butylene Glycol, Propanediol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lactate etc.

Propanediol - Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lactate etc.

Disodium EDTA - Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate (TSGD), Sodium Phytate

Liquid Germall Plus - Phenonip XB, (this is eye safe) if you don’t care for eye safe any broad spectrum preservative will work. Euxyl K 903, Euxyl K 900, Tristate Eco, Geogard 221, Geogard ECT aka Preservative Eco, Opiphen Plus or other broad spectrum preservative of choice. (Make sure it is active in your products final pH)

Distilled Water - Rose Hydrosol, Lavender Hydrosol or cosmetic grade aloe vera liquid.

DL panthenol - no sub you can leave out.

PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides - Caprylyl Capryl Glucoside, Coco Glucoside, Decyl Glucoside

Caprylic Carpric Triglyceride - Coco Caprylate/Caprate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Isohexadecane, Squalane or other emollient ester

Campo Pink, Hydrophilic - Blend of botanical extracts that colors cosmetics pink naturally.
