6 g Propanediol
15 g Cucumber Hydrosol
2 g Cucumber Extract
72 g Distilled Water
Directions;
First mix together the Geogard 221 and Caprylyl Capryl Glucoside before adding in the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
Check and adjust pH to 4.5 - 5.5
Pour into desired container. I used a 2 oz Glass Bottle
Benefits of Each Ingredient;
Caprylyl Capryl Glucoside - Very gentle Nonionic Surfactant. Works great as a solubilizing agent.
Geogard 221- eye safe preservative
Propanediol - Humectant. Hydrates the skin
Cucumber Hydrosol - can be used in soothing and cooling skin care applications and offers a very nice refreshing scent of cucumber.
Cucumber Extract - soothes skin, moisturizing, has vitamin C, vitamin K, and potassium, vitamin A, vitamin B6, thiamin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, and manganese.
Substitutes;
Caprylyl Capryl Glucoside - Coco Glucoside, Decyl Glucoside, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides (SurfPro CC-6)
Geogard 221- Euxyl K 903 or other preservative safe to use on eyes. (If using micellar water on eyes)
Cucumber Hydrosol - any hydrosol of choice
Cucumber Extract - any botanical extract of choice
