Pour into your lip balm tubes/containers. I found these adorable heart lip balm compacts that is perfect for valentines day! You can also use traditional lip balm tubes. Here are some cute pink ones I used too.

Benefits / Uses of Ingredients;
Castor Oil - it’s thick consistency makes it perfect for suspending pigments, moisturizing lips, and creating glossy shiny lips.
Caprylic Capric Triglyceride - a light weight emollient with great spreadability. Pairs perfect with the thick heavy castor oil to create balance.
Octyldodecanol - amazing at wetting and suspending pigments. In my opinion I will classify this as a luxury DIY ingredient. It’s super common in lip stick and pigmented lip products. I added it to step up this lip balm to increase color pay off and to help evenly spread pigment.
Hydrogenated Polyisobutene - reduces stickiness and adds cushion to lips. Again this is a Luxury DIY ingredient. I see it in so many lip products. Really helps elevate this lip product to be more lux.
Cera Bellina - a modified version of beeswax that creates more of an oily gel rather than waxy gel. Has more slip and glide compared to traditional waxes. It creates more flexible balms rather than hard brittle balms.
Cetyl Alcohol - at moisturize to lips and helps harden balm without making brittle. Helps at glide to lip balm.
Sunflower Wax - main hardener in lip balm, but on it’s own may create a lip balm that is too hard and brittle with less spreadability. Which is why I added other hardeners.
Lanolin - one of the best emollient and occlusive for lips.
pigment (D&C RED 27 ALUM LAKE & tiny bit of Sparkle Me Red - adds a red pinky tint to lips
Mixed Berry Flavor Oil - adds scent to lip balm
Mixed Tocopherols T50 - antioxidant
